Mum's the Word Mocktail Recipe

This September, the Johnson family girls held a couple’s shower for our cousin {and niece} Logan and her husband, Ernest. On the menu was a signature mocktail inspired by Logan and the newest baby girl in the family, which we called the Mum’s the Word Mocktail. Infused with tangy and sweet citrus, this mocktail paired perfectly with the Cuban cuisine menu.

Mum’s the Word Mocktail

Serves 2, Yields 2 glasses

  • 2 Oranges
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 limes
  • 3 cups non-alcoholic white wine
  • Splash of grenadine
  • Splash of original flavor Topo Chico

Slice oranges, lemons, and limes into wedges. Save a slice or two of each fruit to squeeze into the mocktail mix later.

Pour nonalcoholic white wine into pitcher. Add a splash of grenadine to your taste. Add a splash of Topo Chico to your taste.

Squeeze one to two slices of the citrus into the pitcher. Add remaining slices of fruit to pitcher. Mix well. Serve cold.

Pro Tip: To turn this mocktail into a cocktail, add white wine.
