A Few Key Ingredients For Steamed Pork Dumplings
- Ground Pork – You can also use ground chicken.
- Sesame Oil – A flavorful addition.
- Wonton Wrappers – You can buy these from the frozen section or take a stab at making yourself with this recipe!
We recommend using a bamboo steamer to cook your dumplings. You can typically find these in your local grocery store and it’s always a great tool to have on hand for steaming dumplings and vegetables. If you don’t have a bamboo steamer, never fear, you can also prepare these delicious dumplings by using a wire steamer or by propping a plate over a sauté pan filled with water.

- Dip a small brush (or your finger) in a small bowl of water and wet edges of wrapper.

- Fill the bottom with water, just below the first layer of the steamer so the dumplings do not get wet.
- Place dumplings 1 inch apart and steam until filling is cooked, about 20 minutes.
