French 75 Cocktail Recipe

Ring in the new year on a bubbly note with a classic favorite, the French 75 cocktail. Nothing feels as festive and sparkly as a delicious pour of Champagne, but add a few additional ingredients and the evening will feel instantly elevated.

A French 75 cocktail only has a few ingredients, but each brings a unique flavor profile to the mix that simply cannot be missed. It’s simple to make yet feels like an elegant cocktail perfect for extra special occasions.

A Few Key Ingredients:

  • Gin – a subtle addition that brings a bit of spice to the cocktail

  • Lemon – citrusy and sweet, the perfect combination

  • Sugar – you can use a sugar cube or simple syrup

We recommend serving this delicious concoction at tomorrow’s New Year’s Eve celebration to toast to an exciting new year!

Serve it in Style

Choose a Festive Glass

A typical French 75 cocktail is served in a tall flute glass due to it being a Champagne-forward drink, however a coupe glass would also be a fun and festive approach to serving.

Add an Interesting Garnish

The recipe calls for a slice of lemon but you can also try adding a small orange peel to the cocktail as well.

Serve Alongside an Upscale Napkin

Tie in the theme of the evening with a celebratory cocktail napkin to keep guests comfortable while also adding a touch of style to the gathering.
