Classic Champagne Cocktail Recipe

Nothing says the holidays like a glass of bubbly and this Classic Champagne Cocktail Recipe certainly rings in a festive mood. This simple, yet delicious recipe only calls for three ingredients, but each brings a unique flavor that can’t be matched. The trick to this refreshing cocktail is through the subtle note of citrus paired with the Angostura bitters.

There’s nothing better than the sparkling taste of Champagne on its own, but when paired with festive ingredients an entirely new flavor arrives that surely does not disappoint.

A Few Key Ingredients

  • Champagne – obvious, but feel free to select your favorite here.

  • Sugar Cube – an essential that gives it just the right amount of sweetness.

  • Lemon or Orange Twist – that citrusy finish that’s simply oh-so-delicious

Have fun crafting this festive cocktail and feel free to garnish with something a bit unexpected. A sprig of rosemary would bring in a touch of the holidays to the mix as well as maybe a few cranberries added to the glass. It’s the dealer’s choice...just make sure nothing alters the flavors too significantly.
