Let’s Plan a Gathering

Kyle and her husband Warren, recently welcomed their sweet baby girl into the world, and this past June, I held a couple’s shower for the expecting parents. Because of Kyle’s love for bright colors and the heat of the summer season, I knew I wanted the party to be bright, casual, and celebratory.  

The Inspiration  

I wanted to hold a casual but elevated, outdoor garden couple’s shower for Kyle and Warren. Because of the number of guests, we knew we wanted to cater the celebration and have a Display Shower so guests could show off their gifts and add texture and color to the overall look of the shower. 

The Mood 

The excitement for the new baby filled the warm, summer evening air. A few descriptors of the evening:

The Colors  

Bright, vibrant greens, orange, blue, and gold hues were paired with girly pinks and reds to help pull the look together.
